Answers below reflect the audited current five Pure HTML v2.0.1 engines and five WordPress v2.0.0 plugins.
Common purchasing and technical questions
What does each product cost?
US$89 per product, one-time.
What does “lifetime licence” mean?
It means continued licensed use of the purchased version under the Terms & Licence. It does not automatically include every future major version or perpetual support unless expressly stated.
How many websites can I use a purchased product on?
Unlimited eligible websites/client sites under the Terms & Licence and any applicable open-source rights.
Are Pure HTML and WordPress editions the same software?
No. They solve the same five disciplines through different platform-native architectures. Pure HTML engines use private PHP/static-file/server workflows; WordPress plugins use WordPress hooks, permissions, nonces, media APIs and admin workflows.
Do I need an Omega cloud or telemetry account?
No required Omega cloud-processing or telemetry account is part of the reviewed principal operation of the ten current products.
Do the Image products require AVIF support on my server?
AVIF output requires the active server/WordPress image editor and codec support. WebP likewise depends on available codec support. Unsupported formats are not treated as successful conversions.
Does the WordPress Image Engine replace native attachment metadata?
No. It preserves native WordPress attachment metadata and stores Omega variant metadata separately. Original images remain compatibility fallbacks.
Can the Image products delete duplicates automatically?
Duplicate handling is deliberately constrained. Exact duplicates are confirmed with SHA-256 and protected paths are excluded; WordPress deletion is limited to eligible unregistered orphan duplicates.
What are the Performance modes?
Both Performance products provide Conservative, Balanced and Aggressive modes. Higher-risk changes are opt-in/guarded rather than universally applied.
Does Omega Performance globally add async+defer or minify all HTML?
No. The WordPress v2.0.0 plugin intentionally avoids unsafe global async+defer and global HTML whitespace minification. The Pure HTML engine also uses guarded deferral and does not apply global HTML whitespace minification.
Can the Pure HTML Performance Engine restore changes?
Yes. It provides read-only preview, explicit apply, timestamped backup and one-click restore for changed HTML and relevant server-rule state.
Does Omega Security automatically delete malware?
No. Security findings are indicators for administrator review. Quarantine/destructive actions are explicit; the WordPress edition does not automatically heal or delete suspicious files.
What does Pure HTML Security scan?
It provides file integrity plus quick/full/single-file malware and virus scanning, vault workflows, IP controls, hardening, logs and runtime/delivery, URL, phishing/message, browser-capability and SPF/DMARC/DKIM audits.
What does WordPress Security protect?
It includes a local application firewall, malicious URI/payload detection, IP allow/block, login/brute-force guard, integrity/malware indicators, optional headers/hardening, logs/notifications and scheduled maintenance.
Will Omega SEO guarantee Google rankings?
No. The SEO products manage technical SEO signals and metadata. Search rankings depend on many factors outside the software and cannot be guaranteed.
How does WordPress SEO avoid duplicate SEO output?
The v2.0.0 plugin detects other SEO plugins and uses an Auto-Safe conflict policy that yields frontend SEO output by default unless the operator deliberately chooses otherwise.
Does WordPress SEO rename image files?
No. Its image SEO does not rename uploaded files or rewrite native WordPress image-size metadata.
Do Web Metrics scores equal Lighthouse/Core Web Vitals?
No. Omega Web Metrics scores are based on its own diagnostic evidence. The products explicitly do not fabricate FCP/LCP/CLS/INP/TBT from server/static evidence.
Can I keep scan history and baselines?
Yes. Pure HTML Metrics supports baseline/history workflows and WordPress Metrics stores local scan history with retention and management controls.
Do WordPress Metrics scans run on public visitors?
No. The current WordPress plugin uses administrator-triggered bounded diagnostics rather than running scan routines on ordinary public page views.
What WordPress/PHP versions are required?
The current WordPress plugin headers specify WordPress 6.0+ and PHP 7.4+. The current Pure HTML documentation recommends PHP 8.1+.
Does Nginx use the included .htaccess rules?
No. .htaccess is for Apache/LiteSpeed-style environments. Nginx requires equivalent server configuration where a Pure HTML engine relies on those protections/rules.
How is payment handled?
Each product uses its own secure Stripe checkout. Product terms, privacy and refund policy apply to the purchase.
