A self-contained PHP administration and image-processing engine for Pure HTML/static sites. It discovers local images, builds a managed Omega Media Library, generates width-specific AVIF/WebP variants where the server supports them, and can safely apply browser-native responsive delivery to eligible HTML with backups before rewriting.

WORKFLOW
A deliberate production workflow.
- Upload/extract at public_html so /omega-image-engine/ and /omega-media-library/ are created
- Create the first private Omega administrator and confirm Imagick/GD capabilities
- Set the site Base URL and run Full Site Image Discovery
- Import appropriate source images into the managed library
- Generate selected width/format variants with the Unified Converter
- Review and explicitly apply responsive markup after the engine creates a timestamped backup
SAFETY MODEL
Controls designed to reduce avoidable production risk.
Originals remain available; conversion failures are handled without treating a missing codec as a successful output.
HTML rewriting is explicit and backup-first.
Duplicate deletion candidates exclude registered Omega originals/variants and files referenced by site pages/CSS.
The dashboard does not request or store hosting/cPanel credentials.

What this product does not pretend to guarantee.
Actual AVIF/WebP support depends on the server image libraries and codecs. Generated variants do not by themselves guarantee a performance score; browser/network/layout behaviour still matters.
Use current documentation, backups and staged testing appropriate to the importance of the site. Third-party hosting, themes, plugins, scripts, services, server modules and browser behaviour remain outside OmegaWebApps' direct control.
