Install Omega Web Metrics

• Create a current backup appropriate to the site before installing or making production changes.
• WordPress 6.0+.
• PHP 7.4+.
• WordPress HTTP requests to the configured/local target must be permitted for server-side diagnostics.

1. Back up the WordPress files/database.
2. Upload the commercial plugin ZIP through Plugins → Add Plugin → Upload Plugin, or install it using an equivalent trusted administrator workflow.
3. Activate the plugin while logged in with an administrator account that has the required capability.
4. Open the Omega product dashboard in wp-admin and review Status/Settings before enabling higher-impact controls.
5. Complete the product-specific setup workflow and test representative frontend/admin functions.

• Run scans manually from wp-admin; the plugin does not place scan work on normal public page views.
• Use Full Scan for broad evidence or single-category scans after a targeted change.
• Review server/static evidence separately from browser Core Web Vitals.
• Use stored history to compare diagnostic state over time and clear/delete old scans when appropriate.

Do not treat installation as proof of compatibility

Server-side request evidence is not the same as real-user/browser performance. Accessibility checks are static heuristics, not a conformance certification. Plugin footprint is bounded static analysis, not runtime CPU/database profiling. SEO/security categories are diagnostic evidence, not guarantees of ranking or security.
