Configure Omega SEO Engine

1. Review detected SEO plugins and choose the frontend policy before enabling output.
2. Use Auto-safe when another SEO plugin should remain authoritative.
3. Check representative posts/pages for title, description, canonical, robots, Open Graph, Twitter and schema output.
4. Configure image SEO overwrite behavior conservatively so existing alt/caption/description data is preserved unless deliberately replaced.
5. Use authenticated batch processing for existing attachments rather than unbounded work.
6. Do not expect the plugin to rename media files or rewrite native WordPress image-size metadata.

1. Back up the WordPress site/database and install/activate the plugin.
2. Open Omega SEO and review detected SEO plugins/environment.
3. Configure frontend SEO policy and metadata settings.
4. Use Auto-safe when another SEO plugin should remain authoritative.
5. Review title/description/canonical/social/schema output on representative content.
6. Configure image SEO and overwrite behavior.
7. Run authenticated batch processing for existing image attachments when desired.

• Auto-safe yields to detected SEO plugins by default.
• No whole-page output buffering or regex removal of third-party head markup.
• Existing image alt/caption/description values are preserved unless overwrite is enabled.
• Image SEO does not rename uploads or rewrite native image-size metadata.
• Batch/admin actions use WordPress authentication/capability protections.

After configuration, test the pages, forms, checkout/payment flows, authentication, media, scripts/styles and integrations that matter to the site. Use staging where practical for higher-risk changes.
